2024 Mill River Junior Golf Program
Welcome to the 2024 Golf Season! Our junior golf program at Mill River Country Club is designed to help young players excel both on and off the course. With a focus on fun and skill development, our classes offer personalized teaching in small groups with a 6 to 1 student-to-teacher ratio. We follow the US Kids Player Pathway Program, which consists of five levels to accommodate players of all abilities, from beginners to elite competitors. Each level builds upon the previous one, teaching essential skills for both ball striking and course play.
Private junior lessons are available at $40 for a half-hour session and $65 for a one-hour session. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to enhance their skills, our experienced instructors are here to help.

2024 Junior Golf Programs
Mill River CC Junior GOLF 101
Two 5-Week Programs
First Session- Saturdays 3-3:45 pm starting June 1st and ending June 29th.
Second Session Saturdays 3-3:45 pm 7/13 7/20 7/27 8/17 8/24
This beginner instruction will include topics such as etiquette, rules of the game, putting, chipping and full-swing theory mechanics. After the clinic season, all juniors and parents will be given a comprehensive review of all that was covered in the five weeks.
TIMEFRAME: 45 Minutes
PRICE: $100 per session if paid in full or $ 25 per week
AGES: 7 to 14
Mill River CC Junior Golf 201- Intermediate
Two 5-Week Programs
First Session- Saturdays 4-5 pm starting June 1st and ending June 29th.
Second Session- Saturdays 4-5 pm 7/13 7/20 7/27 8/17 8/24
Summer Golf Instruction is designed for young golfers to advance their learning in the game of golf in a fun, friendly but competitive environment. Throughout the summer, youth golfers will learn a variety of topics that include: Rules of Golf, Course Etiquette, Pitching, Putting, Chipping, Full swing, and Course Instruction.
TIMEFRAME: 1 Hour
PRICE: $125 per session if paid in full or $30 per week
Must fulfill level 101 requirements to be accepted into 201
Junior Interclub Team Ages – 7 - 17
The Junior Interclub Team competes against other neighboring courses in a friendly competitive 2-person scramble match. We didn’t have enough participation to have a team last year. This letter is to determine the amount of interest. If we can field a team (minimum 6 players) we will have practices and four matches, two home and two away.
